Mark heads a diverse team of experts looking after sustainability and circular economy initiatives at PA Consulting. He works with start-ups, corporates, NGOs, and cities to help organisations build a positive future. He manages PA’s engagement with both the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s CE100 and the UN Global Compact’s Project Breakthrough.
He’s an expert in helping organisations redesign their business models and transform to new operating models. He’s led projects designing for circularity, growth, simplification, innovation, digital, cost reduction, outsourcing, shared services, operational effectiveness and back-office transformation.
Mark is an associate lecturer at Ashridge Business School and co-authored The Operating Model Canvas, a book that explores what organisations need to deliver successful strategies. He also led the development of PA’s business design methodology, which combines organisation design with enterprise architecture and strategy-led approaches.
His consulting and industry experience includes work in consumer, manufacturing, financial services (retail, corporate, insurance, back-office), infrastructure & construction, pharma, utilities, policing, defence & security, central & regional government, education, regulation, and complaints bodies.
