Linda Ligios is an innovation and digital content specialist, passionate about technologies that make a positive impact on our society and environment.
Over the past two years, Linda has immersed herself in the startup ecosystem uncovering over 1,600 ground-breaking ideas including Corti’s AI-powered heart attack detector and Evoware’s edible food packaging. Previously managing all aspects of editorial and innovation partnerships at Springwise, Linda has delivered over 30 compelling innovation reports including ‘AI and the Future of Work’, ‘Createch Ones to Watch’ and produced the ‘The Future of Immersive Technology’ podcast as part of a content series for Digital Catapult.
While researching innovative uses of immersive tech, Linda has developed a keen interest in the power of Virtual Reality to encourage empathy and support learning. As a radio and online tech journalist for over 5 years, Linda worked as a radio producer at BBC Radio Norfolk, oral history interviewer at the British Library, and brand editorial champion at BBC Magazines. More recently she has participated in two EU funded Digital Preservation programmes promoting open-source solutions in the digital preservation space.
