Ecobooth have designed and produced the Innovation Lab, an area that is completely sustainable in its production and existence. Made entirely from recycled and biodegradable materials, all of which will be recycled, reused or disposed of without causing any harm to the planet once the event is finished.
Produced at our London HQ powered exclusively by renewable energy and delivered using our fleet of 100% electric vans, the lab is also a zero-emission project.
The Innovation Lab by Ecobooth has been created to raise awareness of the large levels of unnecessary waste in the Events Industry and to highlight that design does not need to be compromised by working within a sustainable framework.
In 2018 it is estimated 100,000 tonnes of event waste will go to landfill, Ecobooth is here to change that.
nūfood (nufood.io) – the world’s first 3D liquid printer for making personalised edible sweet and savoury bursts of flavour. The invention inspired the Financial Times to write that: “…pick your own strawberries might be superseded by print your own fruit”.
Chirp sends and receives data using sound, with nothing but a device’s existing speaker and microphone. Information is converted to an audio signal, heard by nearby devices, and then converted back to the original data.
It works in the noisiest conditions, and can be secured using industry-standard encryption. Chirp needs no internet connection, and can use near-ultrasonic frequencies that are inaudible to the human ear. It is available in a suite of developer-friendly cross-platform SDKs, from mobile and web to low-power embedded chips.
Chirp is so reliable, safe and versatile that it’s used in everything from nuclear power stations to children’s toys. You can send your Wi-Fi password to a new smart device, without pairing or setup, send money, be your digital ticket on transport and at a venue, or supercharge your voice assistant by allowing it to speak to nearby machines
