Why the (gen)omics revolution will dwarf the digital revolution
Probably our most personal belonging. Our genome. A 3 billion digits code partially defining who we are and who we’ll become. Hardly understood. For now. The tipping point, needed to realise it will become ethically unacceptable not to know your genome, is almost there. It will spearhead the arrival of personalised food, care and wellness. It will create a completely new way to monetise yourself, to change the definition of retail, of branding, of fashion, basically of any industry. A wonderful playground for moral, ethical and privacy considerations. For defining what it means to be human. I’ll take you along a little theory of everything genomics.
